Everything that Imran Khan has said about the issue of selecting an army chief is 100% right as per the law of nature. It is axiomatic that a corrupt regime can never choose an honest and patriotic army chief. A patriotic and honest government may select a chief surreptitiously hooked up by Enemy of Islam (EOI) by mistake but never knowingly select one whose integrity is questionable. As the welfare of the people and country is not on the present Imported Hukumat (I H) agenda, they will look for a “Yes Minister” type COAS. Professionalism, meritocracy, honesty, or Patriotism are redundant issues for them. The corrupt regime will remain concerned only with the one who will support all their evil agendas.
In this
respect, President Mahathir Mohammad of Malaysia set a historical example. When
a new Air Chief was about to be selected. The senior-most candidate with the
highest professional credential, a GDP pilot, never stood 2nd in any
course. To everyone, he was the most likely and legitimate candidate to be the
next Air Chief. But Mahathir selected the second senior-most officer. He was a
helicopter pilot and not a champion in his professional credential like number
one on the list. When asked by someone close why he did do that? According to
the report, his response was that both are honest and equally affluent; the
private car of number one is a BMW, and number two drives a Proton Saga; number
two is more patriotic than the serial one candidate. Professionalism is most
important throughout the career, but Patriotism is of utmost importance at the
highest level of any profession. Mahathir Mohammad was a man of such vision and
foresight. What quality will this corrupt regime look for while selecting a new
COAS for Pak Army? Besides, they have to abide by the dictation of EOI, which
has brought them into power through a sneaky parliamentary coup.
EOI not
only hooks up military officers but also hooks up judges, election commission
officials, and political leaders who only want to remain in power. These EOI hooked-up
people may serve in different portfolios, but they will have similarities at
one point, i.e., they all are dishonest, and dishonesty may have different
shapes or forms. The Pakistan army produced world-class generals but not
always. Pakistan had generals like Ayub Khan, Ziaul Haq, and Rahil Sharif; they
were not only professional but honest and dedicated patriots. Pakistan Army
also produced Generals like Yeahia Khan, Pervez Musharraf, or ongoing Gen Mir
Bajwa; they are all hooked up EOI control generals. General Yahia divided
Pakistan into two; if Gen Mir Bajwa can not be stopped in time, he may divide
Pakistan into five. When Gen Yeahia was dividing Pakistan, we had high court
and supreme court judges; they did not issue any Su-Moto the way they are also
not doing now.
The
present Election Commission of Pakistan is fully EOI, and Mir Bajwa controlled.
They will never come up with an election date until they collectively put Imran
Khan behind the bar successfully. Pakistan is under existential threat now. One
can never expect a patriotic decision from a Gaddar. A country under the
command of a bunch of Gaddars can never be independent in the truest sense of
its term. Lastly, If Imran Khan has said the Corrupt regime would select a CAOS
to suit their purpose, it is absolutely right. If any judge opines that Imran’s
statement goes against the Pak army, that judge should be hanged by the neck
till death by a public court.
